Last updated 19 Aug 2026Methodology ↗Pure-math estimate. Gross yield = annual rent ÷ property value. Net yield = (annual rent − annual costs) ÷ property value. Rent, value, and costs are all your inputs — no market figures are assumed.
Optional — maintenance, property tax, insurance, vacancy.
Gross annual rent₹3,60,000
Gross yield3.60%
Net annual income₹3,60,000
Net yield3.60%

Rental yield is the annual rent expressed as a percentage of the property's value. Gross yield uses rent alone; net yield subtracts annual holding costs — maintenance, property tax, insurance, and expected vacancy — for a truer picture of what the asset returns. Yield ignores price appreciation and financing costs, so read it alongside your EMI and total-cost figures.
